DESCRIPTION
Polished Concrete pin hole filler Re-Crete is a polymer modified cementitious repair mortar. It is used for patching, repairing, filling and leveling concrete or any cementitious surfaces.
USES
For Polished Concrete patching and filling small air pockets / pin holes when polishing concrete floors.
It can be supplied in 2 components PART A is mixed completely with PART B to form a high strength, cohesive, durable and non-shrink mortar.
Or the liquid component PART A can be mixed with OPC or the powder residue produced from the grinding process.
METHOD OF USE Surface Preparation
Surface of polished concrete to be patched must be cleaned and free from dust, dirt, foreign impurities and grease.
MIXING
Mix Part B Powder to Part A liquid with a slow mechanical stirrer till homogenous consistency.
5ltrs liquid + 25kg powder will yield 15 ltrs of Re-Crete mix.
Or 1 part liquid to 5 parts OPC or grinding powder
APPLICATION
Apply with a trowel to the prepared area. (no wetting required) 12 hours later, continue with your polishing steps.
Usually apply Re-Crete after grinding with grit 80 before Densification then resin polishing.
COVERAGE
Approx 15m2 per ltr of Part A liquid at an application depth of 1mm
